It is time to change, time to lift our game. The world can’t wait any longer. We either change or we sink under a weight of pollution and I am not talking about physical material. The pollution I am talking about is the weight of information pollution.
The amount of junk we have to go through these days. Whether it is news, blogs, junk mail, spam, advertising, TV, official reports, insurance requirements, Internet, emails or just those instruction books that come with your new mobile phone.
We are all struggling under a weight of information that we have to read just to stay up with what is happening in the world. Our brains are being fried by the amount of data that we need to process. Computers instead of helping us have created even more information to process. No scientist nor doctor nor politician can stay up with all the latest information. The age of information is fully upon us and accelerating. Our brains are being asked, no pushed to change.
Brain Research over the last 30 years has shown we are only using 1% of our brain power that means we are trying to solve and process the world’s problems with only 1% of a brain, no wonder we are in trouble.
Einstein was said to have been using about 12-15% of his brain power. Genius still only use a small amount of the Brain's vast capacity and yet at 12% it is 12 times more the average human being.
The miracle is that we have managed to create such an amazing world with such a small brain capacity. But it has also been this small brain that has led us into such horrendous problems of world degradation
I have a dream that humanity will stop destroying itself by increasing its ability to use more brain power and that we humans will begin to take personal responsibility for the problems we have created.
The first step in fixing our problems is to realise we have caused them all through the way we think. It is our thoughts and belief systems that have taken us to the moon and bought us to the brink of extinction.
The first step we must make is to realise that the power to change lies with us,we need to bring the power home. By taking the responsibility to change the way we think and perceive the world we would have already taken a great step towards growing our intelligence. We are running out of time as a species and the whole of humanity needs to change its thinking, This can be done by change the brain's thinking mechanisms.
It is possible to now have a realistic dream of human beings who are using a higher percentage of brain power, 300% to 500% greater than what we are now using.
Imagine a world that is filled with highly evolved beings who are using 50% or even dare I say it 100% of their brain's capacity. Imagine a world full of beings, highly intelligent beings that would make wise loving changes to how we work and play in our environment? People that make happy, healthy, loving choices that support the environment and don’t destroy.
As I write this I can hear the sceptics “impossible human nature will never change. You are speaking of a fool’s paradise; we would all die of boredom”

But what if we talked about the great leaps forward we humans have already made. When we decided to walk up right, when we learnt to create using our opposing thumbs, our brains had to make a huge jump forward in evolution.
When we discovered speech and the power of communication, and then the great leap again that we made when we discovered writing and then printing.
What changes happened to our brains capacity to visualise the world, when we realised that the earth was round and we were not the center of the Universe?
Our Brains and nervous system have had to change with each breakthrough, our thinking has had to expand, adapt and create new ways of reasoning, creating and being.
We are right now at the beginning of an evolutionary consciousness expansion. We are at a crossroads and our survival as a species will depend on how quickly our brains take this evolutionary jump. We have to change our thinking to create a future that is full of infinite possibilities. Possibilities that bring no harm.
We need to learn how to learn. We need to increase our brains abilities to think, feel and experience the world around us.
This isn't as hard as it seems. In the last 30 years there has been an explosion of Brain research. We are beginning to understand what the brain needs to accelerate to a greater level of consciousness.
Techniques as simple as relaxation, healthy diet, breathing and positive mental stimulation all have a deep and profound effect on how the brain develops.
Malnutrition in a pregnant mother could lower the baby's brain capacity by up to 40%. Improving how a person breathed caused their retention rate to jump by 70%.
Helping someone to learn how to relax and de-stress opened the whole brain to the alpha brain wave, recognised as the brain wave needed for a leap in retention and recall.
The simple act of saying positive statements while studying caused the student to have a 68% improvement in memory and recall.
One of the best and cheapest forms of Brain development is the art of Meditation. There are many forms available but all are directed at creating a healthier Brain and nervous system. Meditation skills would also incorporate the many forms of Yoga and Qi gong (Chinese energy exercises)
The techniques of Superlearning, Accelerated learning, Educational Kinesiology and the Holosync Program are just a small sample of commercial programs that have revolutionised how we can work with the brain.
Universities and educational institutions are slower to take up the latest developments in increasing the brains capacity for whole brain learning and thinking.
The information is out there, we just need a brain willing to look, explore and practise.
